Welcome to the Bright Explorers School Library – a vibrant hub of learning, exploration, and imagination!
The mission of our school library is to foster a love of reading, encourage curiosity, and support our pupils’ academic and personal growth. We believe that books are the gateway to knowledge, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around us.
What We Offer
Our library is a warm and welcoming space filled with a diverse collection of books, including:
Picture Books: Engaging stories for our youngest readers, with beautiful illustrations to spark their imagination.
Early Readers: Simple, enjoyable books designed to help children build confidence as they start to read independently.
Chapter Books: A wide selection of chapter books that captivate Pupils as they progress in their reading journey.
Non-Fiction: Informative books on a variety of topics that complement our curriculum and help satisfy Pupils’ natural curiosity about the world.
How to Use the Library
Pupils visit the library weekly as part of their class schedule and are also welcome to visit during lunch or recess. Each Pupil can borrow up to 3 books at a time, with a 4-week borrowing period. Parents are encouraged to visit the library with their children and explore our Parent Resource section, which includes books and materials to support reading at home.
Our Librarian
Our dedicated librarian, Miss Dorcas Japhet is always on hand to help Pupils find the perfect book, recommend new reads, and assist with research projects. With a passion for fostering a love of reading, Miss Dorcas Japhet makes the library a fun and engaging place for every student.

We welcome parents and community members to volunteer in the library! Whether helping with book organization, assisting during events, or sharing your love of reading with Pupils, your involvement makes a big difference.
